We are on the brink of being overtaken by a philosophy that would eliminate most of the freedoms we take as rights and replace them with governmnet mandates. Just look at the results of many of the "social" reforms we have had "given" to us. In what was a noble cause to begin with much of the civil "rights" legislation has been morphed into a group of laws that target specific segments of the population while excluding a vast majority of others. These are not rights but entitlements. If any politician (regardless of party affiliation) stands up and tries to oppose these "ideals" they are slandered and attacked in the most ludicrous manner. I am embarrassed at the disrespectfl behavior of many in our nation today.
