My biggest complaint with him has been his lack of leadership. He keeps giving rousing speeches but doesn't give Congress or the American people any direction about what to do. He doesn't show the you-know-whats to take a stand and risk accepting the consequences if it turns out to be the wrong stand. Take Afghanistan - I certainly think we need more troops there so we can finally finish that thing. But even if Obama doesn't feel that way, I'd respect him a lot more if he came out quickly and emphatically made his decision, explained his case and accepted the consequences if he backed the wrong horse. Even Florida Republican governor Charlie Crist is facing an uphill battle because of a photo of him hugging the Messiah. The Big O's charm and alleged oratory skills haven't gotten him nearly as far as his outsized ego would have him believe. He doesn't seem to realize that he is overexposed and has very quickly worn out his welcome. Good for us -- the train wreck will be even bigger and take out even more of these ultra liberal nanny-statists.
